I did Natalie and Jon's engagement session.. weeks ago. This has been an absolutely crazy month and I am just now getting around to posting it. So enjoy!
I did their session at Main Street St. Charles while a fair was going on (that we didn't know about). The streets were packed but luckily you can't tell in the pictures!
The day I scheduled the family session below turned out to be soooo rainy & gross out and I was afraid we weren't going to be able to take pictures. We couldn't reschedule because they don't all live in St. Louis and this was a rare occasion where they were all together. Luckily, we made it work by taking pictures under a gazebo at Tower Grove Park!
The rain broke for long enough to take the picture below, and then immediately started back up.
A couple weeks ago I got to photograph a rehearsal dinner - something I've never done before - but I just treated it like a wedding reception. It's all about the food, the drinks, the interactions between people, the gifts. It was so much fun to photograph and I got some of my favorite pictures ever from this event.
The bride and groom to be-
There was so much emotion during the toasts.. it was a dream for me to photograph.
The cute little ringbearer -
I always really appreciate it when my clients give me a place card and tell me where to sit. Without one, I have to scramble around, find a place to sit, sometimes sit with the DJ or the guests. I'm a pretty quiet person and it can be kind of awkward. I was relieved when I saw this waiting for me..
Abby & Andy are getting married in January so we just did their engagement session. They were a very fun couple to work with - really relaxed and laughed a lot. I had a great time and I'm looking forward to their wedding :)
