Happy Fourth!

My husband, son, dog, and I enjoyed a great Fourth of July with many of our close friends at a BBQ in Tilles Park. Mike and his friends have been gathering at the same spot for the last 10 years. This was my fourth year attending, and Jack's second. Jack had an awesome time. Last year he was just hanging out in his stroller, sleeping, the whole time. This year, he couldn't sit still.

He interrupted the volleyball game and then decided to just stand back and watch.. one day he'll be big enough to participate..

We skipped out on fireworks because Jack was exhausted from the BBQ. And.. he's scared of them.

Married! Jonette & David

I really love this couple. Both so sweet and soft spoken. They got married a couple weeks ago amongst their closest friends and family.. and lots of cute kids! Like these girls..









When the ceremony was over, all the couples danced up the aisle! It was hilarious - I was laughing the whole time and wishing that my wedding party had done that at my wedding.

Sarah and Nate had a beautiful ceremony and reception at Carolyn Vineyard in Washington, MO. Donna Harris was my "second-shooter" for the day. It was awesome having somebody with me during a wedding.
