Bunny and Art's wedding was such a breeze. They are really nice, caring people with great families. They also picked a perfect day to have their wedding. The light was perfect!
I love weddings at the Jewel Box! So much room to walk around, nice light, beautiful settings.
My husband has an iphone and he downloaded the app after I begged him to. His iphone is practically superglued to his body, but I was able to take it away from him for awhile to test out this camera.
When I had total access to a darkroom, I would take these kinds of pictures with my holga (my all time favorite camera), develop them myself. Those were the good old days. I don't have a darkroom anymore, but it's so great that iphone has this app that takes very similar photos without having to do any photoshop stuff. Of course, doing it with film is better - but I'm sorry - with my son being so young, and working, I just don't have time for it.
Can't get myself an iphone until next JUNE! It sucks!
Staci and Larry were married about a month ago and this was the HOTTEST wedding I've ever done in my history of doing weddings! I was soaked in sweat, my makeup running down my face at times (yeah, kinda gross) but I somehow made it.
On the bright side, their wedding was sooo cute - set at a small pavilion by the lake at Hidden Trails Winery in Illinois. Lots of nature and lots of neat light coming through the trees - makes for great pics. And Staci was so happy to be getting married. She carried a smile on her face all day long.
Look at her awesome shoes to go with the dress!
Staci's reaction at putting on her dress and looking in the mirror was priceless -
After the kiss, they just stood their for a few moments, taking it all in. Very sweet.
