Samantha Jane - 11 months

My best friend in the world, Suzy, and I took her daughter Sammy to the park to take pictures. Sammy is the sweetest little girl in the world and the reason why I appreciate children more now than I ever have.

First born, little 6 pound baby..

And now, at 11 months, Sammy has recently started walking which is the coolest thing in the world to watch. Occasionally she tumbles forward but always catches herself and then laughs about it.

and sammy's future best friend, madison, came over as well. But she just slept the whole time.

Congratulations Bryan & Stephanie!

Married April 12, 2008 at Meramec State Park.

It was supposed to be 75 degrees, but ended up being about 45. It was freezing!

I am grateful that they dealt with the weather and went outside for the portraits. They turned out very pretty. Great couple!

Botanical Garden

In my senior year at Webster, I interned at Missouri Botanical Garden. I photographed several Garden events and plants in bloom. One of my pictures, a trumpet daffodil, is on the cover of their bi-monthly magazine, The Bulletin!

You can always expect to see a couple of my pictures in new issues of The Bulletin.

Baby Madison

This past Saturday, February 16, I had the honor of being in the delivery room with my friend Meghan while she gave birth to her daughter, Madison Ann. I videotaped the birth and then snapped a few pictures. Here are my favorites:

Beginning

Well, I've begun to really build my website. It's going to look kind of boring at first, but the slideshows look awesome. They are Simpleviewer slideshows. Hopefully they work and hopefully everyone has Flash on their computer so they can view them.

I got Photoshop CS3 in the mail yesterday. I don't usually make the black-and-white with specks of color pictures, but I couldn't help it.
