Congratulations Robert and Dongyan (aka Dawn)!

They had a beautiful ceremony at the Jewel Box in Forest Park (where I hope to have my wedding ceremony next year!). Afterwards, we had a lot of time to take pictures in several areas of the park.

Robert is a Wash U alum and Dawn is currently a student there, so we went to the castle-like Brookings Building to take some photos.

Feedback?

If you are one of my wedding clients, I would love for you to read this.

I have been quite confused lately regarding feedback from clients. When I send out their wedding pictures and post them to the online viewing, 5 out of 10 times, I get absolutely no feedback from clients at all. The feedback that I have gotten is very positive and gives me the confidence to continue this line of work. When I get no feedback from clients, I just wonder.. did I do something wrong? Did they not like the pictures? Or did they just not think to comment?

I am now entering my second year of business. I am 24 years old and I expect to continue wedding photography for awhile. If you loved the pictures, PLEASE let me know. If you liked the pictures, PLEASE let me know. If you absolutely hated the pictures and think that I didn't do anything right at all, PLEASE let me know. I try my hardest to make sure the latter doesn't come true, but everybody's tastes are different. I just want to know if I am on the right track and if there is anything I can do to make you more satisfied with the work.

Congratulations Matthew & Valerie!

They had a beautiful ceremony in the Japanese Garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden - my favorite place in St. Louis :)

Matthew & his mother were the cutest mother-son couple I've ever seen at a wedding.

We took pictures after the ceremony in the Garden. You can't really tell, but it was extremely hot outside. We had to get them done quick!

Their reception was at the Millennium Hotel downtown.
