Married! Brittney & Dan - Part 1

This post is so long overdue that I'm breaking it up into 2 parts. I just have so many favorites, it would be silly to make it into a huge post.

Brittney & Dan got married on a beautiful day at the end of April. So in love, so excited for this day to have finally arrived. They are both very sweet people and made me feel very comfortable all day. Also - I barely had to direct them for photo poses. They are so affectionate, they stayed close to each other all day and made my job very easy. I get lucky when it comes to brides & grooms! They are always great.

I was so worried it was going to rain. I was just waiting for it to start pouring. And then all the sudden, the sun started to shine, it was beautiful on this one street in particular..

Engaged! Sara & Brett

A few weeks ago I met up with Sara and Brett for their session at Faust Park. They've been dating since middle school. I think it is incredibly sweet that they are able to go through those formative years together, with all the changes that occur, the friends that come and go, the attitudes that change. I think teen romances that evolve into something much larger are the best.









They brought their dog Louie with them for a few pics!

Wes, Jessica, & Skylar

A couple weeks ago I met with this cute little family. We did pictures at Jessica's childhood home - where her mother still lives. Such a beautiful place, and such superb landscaping! It was more green than any park I could have found. Here are some of my favorites from the session.





Skylar is such a pretty, energetic, happy 6-year-old.





She loves her parents soooooo much, and it was so sweet to watch her affection.

Baby Mia

I got to meet this strong little girl who decided to surprise her parents by being 2 weeks early. Even so, she's healthy as ever and arrived just in time to get her first Easter basket.

Little lamb, Mia was so serene the entire session, barely cried, didn't even need to eat the whole time, I was impressed..

Brittney & Dan - Sneak Peek

I just did this wedding yesterday, but I couldn't wait to start editing a few of my favorites. Everything just came together so great - nice and windy, beautiful light, and NO rain! :)

Engaged! Mallory & Eric

I met up with Mallory and Eric on a beautiful day at the Arch. I was really excited to meet Mallory. We've been friends on facebook for almost a year, and I photographed her cousin's wedding. She is super excited about all the little details of her wedding and I can't wait to see what she has come up with. These two have been together for years. They are a very loving couple and I'm glad I get to work with them!

Potager Gardens

Recently I've been taking pictures for my friend Abby's wonderful new business venture - Potager Gardens. Basically what she does is help you create organic, edible gardens at your home. Such an awesome idea, I'm very happy to be in charge of the pictures! I love taking pictures of plants, flowers, nature. The pictures here are just the beginnings of vegetables she is growing at her own home. Over the next couple months, will be going back to photograph their progress.
