My baby is 2

Sunday we celebrated Jack's 2nd birthday with a party at the Little Gym. From the time he was a couple months old, I could just tell he wanted to MOVE. He has always been so energetic. When he was 9 months old, he started taking classes at the Little Gym. It is his favorite place ever. He gets to run and jump and climb freely. And spend quality time with Mike and I.

Excuse the ugly yellowish tint to these photos. It is hard being the party organizer AND the photographer. I didn't feel like hauling my flash around on top of my camera when I was already running around the room, chasing Jack and other kids. So I had to just use the light in the room.. and it's not that pretty..

He started loving Elmo a few months ago, so we got him an Elmo cake.



Before the party started, he had this MEAN look on his face - I do not know why! He was just glaring at everybody. And then he snapped out of it a few seconds later. He's so silly. I can just picture him thinking, "Ugh.. another birthday? Really?"





This is Sammy.. she is 3 and one of Jack's very good friends.



This is Finley. She is the daughter of our good friends Matt and Lindsay.



This is Isaac, Jack's best guy pal. He is the son of my good friend Natalie.



This is Madison. She is almost 3 and the daughter of my good friend Meghan.

So very merry

I had such high hopes for this picture. My son in a Santa looking outfit, sitting next to our dog in a reindeer outfit, in front of the tree, everyone smiling. Yeah right.

This is what I got - but I still find it cute. Buddha looks miserable, Jack was just scared. My husband and I haven't tried to re-take this picture. Maybe next year.

New logo!

Engaged! Mandy & CJ

I did Mandy and CJ's engagement session around Tower Grove Park. Luckily, we did it on the last weekend of fairly good weather. All my other engagement sessions will have to be done early next year when it starts to warm up. Love the fall colors in this one - and Mandy & CJ were excellent models! I love Mandy's smile!

Engaged! Teresa & Kraig

I met with Teresa and Kraig in Soulard for their engagement session. They are another couple whose wedding is next year. I'd been wanting to do a session in Soulard for awhile. I used to work around there - such a neat area. Here are my favorites.

















Teresa really loves the "soulard stars" (in picture below) that are affixed to the buildings there. So we made sure to find some and get a picture!
