Laura & David - Waiting On Baby

Laura and David are a sweet couple from Chicago who are expecting a little girl in August. Laura is a real trooper for being 8 months pregnant and getting through the entire session in nearly 100 degree temperature (and it was a morning session!) Despite the heat, it was great working with them and it was my first session since I've had my baby 5 weeks ago. Best of luck to them with the delivery!

Long overdue, but wanted to share these photos because it's one of my favorite family sessions to date. I loooooove 6 month olds. They are so much fun. And Micah was no exception.

Married! Tom & Teresa

Tom and Teresa's wedding was my first of 2012. Everything went splendidly and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them and their family and friends. I have a lot of favorites. I always worry that I put too many pictures in a blog post, but I just can't help it. If I liked slideshows, I would just make one of those, but I don't. So here are all my faves!

The day started off at the Moonrise Hotel in the Loop for getting ready pictures of Teresa.



After Tom and Teresa's "first look," we headed to Forest Park for some pre-ceremony pictures.



From there, we headed to the ceremony at Forest Park Golf.

The ringbearer and flower girl, Tom's nephew and niece, were just adorable. I could not get the ringbearer to smile for me, though. But it's okay.



Married!



Immediately after the ceremony, I grabbed Tom and Teresa and took them for some more pictures. The light was so pretty, I couldn't resist.
