They are seriously in love, but also have a fun playful side. That is what I wanted to bring out when I took Neal & Lindsey's engagement photos. We decided on Laumeier Sculpture Park because Neal is an artist, so I wanted to include some of the sculptures in the photos. But they also really like the outdoors, and Laumeier has some awesome wooded areas. That evening, mother nature was preparing for thunderstorms and tornadoes so the sky was kind of dark and the sun didn't pop out at all. But we made due and I am very happy with how these photos turned out. I am really looking forward to these lovebirds' wedding in August!

Carter Full of Cuteness
Are you ready to fall in love? This adorable little baby boy just turned 6 months old and it was amazing to see him again!
Flashback to 6 months ago -
And now! He is such a little model. It took him a little while to get used to me. I pulled out all my tricks to get him to smile (including my awful singing voice). Mom & dad told me that the 2nd time Carter ever sat up by himself was at this session! Carter did so amazing and the 3 of them are such a gorgeous little family.
Every expression of his was priceless!
I loved how he reached both his arms up to touch mom and dad..

Important Notice
FYI - I book each photo session 4 to 6 weeks in advance. This means I have to sometimes turn away clients who want pictures done sooner. When a client cancels their session (unless in the case of illness or something else terrible) it hurts my feelings, and leaves me in a tough position. I could have had a photo session for that date, but now I don't. My company is very important to me. I have feelings. I'm going to have to require a 50% deposit from now on for all photo sessions. I adore all of my clients and I hate to write a post like this, but it's been a long time coming. In short, please take your scheduled session seriously, because I take each one very seriously.

Chandler Hill Vineyards Wedding - Spencer & Holly
This day was perfect from start to finish, and I knew it would be. I met Holly and Spencer before the wedding for their engagement session and they are such a laid back, totally in love couple. On the wedding day, Holly was cool as a cucumber, taking time to help dress her bridesmaids more than get herself ready. But when it was time to walk down the aisle, she looked perfect. Spencer was a little nervous about pictures, but that's just because he's a guy, and pretty much all grooms are like that! I love Chandler Hill Winery, I've done a few weddings there already and I never get tired of it. The light hits that area so perfectly and there are so many different locations you could choose for photos, all pretty much within walking distance. And if you can't walk there, they will take you in a shuttle to where you need to go. Overall it was a beautiful day and I am so happy to share these photos - I have so many favorites!
