It had been several years since their last family portrait and this was the first time, in a long time, that the whole family was together in St. Louis. I'm grateful to the Moonrise for lending us their lobby to take pictures out of the cold. They were so courteous and helpful! And thank you to Abby's sweet mom for choosing me to photograph the family :)

Carter Full of Cuteness
Are you ready to fall in love? This adorable little baby boy just turned 6 months old and it was amazing to see him again!
Flashback to 6 months ago -

And now! He is such a little model. It took him a little while to get used to me. I pulled out all my tricks to get him to smile (including my awful singing voice). Mom & dad told me that the 2nd time Carter ever sat up by himself was at this session! Carter did so amazing and the 3 of them are such a gorgeous little family.

Every expression of his was priceless!

I loved how he reached both his arms up to touch mom and dad..

Family & Birthday Photo Fun
I love this family! We got together a couple weeks ago for their family photos and for Clayton's birthday photos (he's turning 1). We scheduled for the day before Easter, which turned out to be very rainy.. and chilly. Re-scheduling was not an option so we headed to the Muny, of course everybody's favorite spot for covered pictures. Being a Saturday, we got swarmed with wedding parties and headed to the World's Fair Pavilion. To my surprise, it was empty and we got to complete the entire session there. We tried to keep little Clayton happy with bubbles and a cupcake, but after awhile he was very obviously done so I continued the session the following week at their house on a beautiful no-rain day. Overall everything turned out great and I enjoyed spending time with all of them! Addy and her big sister Keeley are the sweetest girls and Addy told me that I am so much better than the photographer that comes to her school to do the yearbook photos. Ha! I hope so!
Glitter overload!

Sweet Baby Lexi
A couple months ago I photographed little Lexi and her family. They were in the midst of moving hours away as well as adjusting to being a family of 4. Little brother Derrick had just turned 2 and was an angel for the session. They were all so sweet, it was a pleasure spending time with them.
