Feedback?

If you are one of my wedding clients, I would love for you to read this.

I have been quite confused lately regarding feedback from clients. When I send out their wedding pictures and post them to the online viewing, 5 out of 10 times, I get absolutely no feedback from clients at all. The feedback that I have gotten is very positive and gives me the confidence to continue this line of work. When I get no feedback from clients, I just wonder.. did I do something wrong? Did they not like the pictures? Or did they just not think to comment?

I am now entering my second year of business. I am 24 years old and I expect to continue wedding photography for awhile. If you loved the pictures, PLEASE let me know. If you liked the pictures, PLEASE let me know. If you absolutely hated the pictures and think that I didn't do anything right at all, PLEASE let me know. I try my hardest to make sure the latter doesn't come true, but everybody's tastes are different. I just want to know if I am on the right track and if there is anything I can do to make you more satisfied with the work.

They had a beautiful ceremony in the Japanese Garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden - my favorite place in St. Louis :)

Matthew & his mother were the cutest mother-son couple I've ever seen at a wedding.

We took pictures after the ceremony in the Garden. You can't really tell, but it was extremely hot outside. We had to get them done quick!

Their reception was at the Millennium Hotel downtown.

Pug Break

I thought I would take a quick break from wedding posts and introduce everyone to Igor the Pug. I babysat him for over a week in July. Him and my pug, Buddha, had an interesting time together.

The summer heat always affects pugs dramatically. Igor would spend most of the day napping in the hallway. Buddha would nap on my bed, in front of the fan.

Married July 17, 2008 at St. Henry Church in Belleville, IL.

"Elvis" sang Fools Rush In during their ceremony.

The reception was at Stone Wolf Golf Club in Fairview Heights, IL.

You can't really tell, but it was like a sauna outside.
