Married! Tara & Greg

Tara & Greg are a really great couple who got married at the Peace Chapel in Defiance, MO. This is like my millionth wedding at the Peace Chapel but the place never gets old! It is such an adorable little chapel and always produces great pictures. Tara is just so adorable, her & Greg are sooooo in love, it was awesome working with them.

Their reception was held at Quintessential on Main Street St. Charles. The place is actually a restaurant and bar but they reserved the entire rooftop for their party! It was awesome.

The reception was very relaxed, no set "events", it was neat.. I was able to shoot almost all candids.

Baby Lucy

Baby Lucy's family was referred to me by two of my favorite clients. I was sooo happy to get a newborn session - haven't done one in awhile and it was a nice change of pace. Lucy is such a sweet baby and did great for her first portraits. Such a great family - hope to work with them again someday!

I really like this picture of Lucy with her brother and sister. The look her sister is giving her is quite funny, while her brother just looks confused, and Lucy just has this great big smile.

Married! Liz & Chad

Liz & Chad are a fun, outgoing couple who were married at the Randall Gallery - an awesome ceremony/reception spot in the city that I didn't even know existed!

Before the ceremony we headed out to Busch Stadium to do pictures!

So when you take pictures inside of Busch Stadium, you're only allowed to stay on the dirt area and the bleachers. You are NOT to go on the grass. Before the wedding, I had all these ideas for pictures like having Chad & Liz stand on the pitcher's mound or homeplate. When we arrived, I asked the lady who worked at the Stadium if we could do that. She looked at me like I was the dumbest person in the world and told me that is NOT allowed. Sorry! How was I to know? Is it really that big a deal? We got some great shots anyway.

Sometimes I think I'm crazy for shooting weddings all on my own - no assistant. But I really surprise myself sometimes. I mean, we had limited time at the stadium and I had about a million people to shoot. I just ran my butt off and managed to get all the shots I wanted.

Back at the Randall Gallery we took some more pictures and then proceeded to the ceremony & reception!
