Layla Turns 1!

There are some families that I have had the honor of working with time and time again, and my cousin Casey's family is one of them..

I photographed their son, Logan's, first birthday party..



And as they prepared for the arrival of their little girl Layla..



And Layla's birth..

And now Miss Layla's first birthday party!



The party was at The Little Gym, which was great since most of the child attendees were older, they could run around and play. And Layla could crawl around freely and try out the equipment with the help of the party planner.



And I loved this cake by Confections by Carla!

Layla was really such a lady about the cake.. she didn't really "dig in" too much.. just mostly dipping her fingers in the icing and then bringing them to her mouth.. much different than her brother who at his 1st birthday planted his whole face in the cake..



But in the end, she still made a good mess..
